BULLS FOR SALE STIRLING FEBRUARY 2012
We are a member of the Checs. Health scheme with the herd accredited free for Johnes and BVD. The bulls are tested negative for BVD IBR and Lepto. The bulls are vaccinated against BVD and Lepto to help preserve their high health status.

Kilbride Farm Bracken,lot 56, by KilbrideFarm Vaten out of Kilbride Farm Eunice 25R
He is a big solid bull with a great wide top and backend and is very good on his legs and feet.
His father was retained for his size, power and character and has bred very well with sons and daughters selling for good prices at home. This is the first son of Vaten to be offered for sale at Stirling.
Bracken's dam,by Kilbride Farm Newry, is one of the thickest fleshiest cows in the herd with lots of milk and has already two sons sold in Stirling to average 5000 gns. See her on the Breeding cows page.

Kilbride Farm Broughshane,lot 82, by Cairnview Snazzy out of a big, stylish, milky K F Newry heifer Eunice 74W.
Like all Cairnview Snazzy cattle he is very easy fleshing. This bull has tremendous figures being in the top 5% for both terminal and self replacing indeces.
His grand dam K F Eunice 2nd is a very good breeding Milnafua Graduate cow.
Cairnview Snazzy was purchased for 15,000 gns and is one of our most successful stock bulls with over 20 sons sold in Stirling to average over 5,000gns. He is easy calving and produces long easy fleshing quiet, cattle with good back ends. We now have daughters in the herd breeding very well.

Kilbride Farm Bantry, lot 112, by Cairnview Snazzy out of a Seaview prince Charming heifer.
Bantry is a very stylish well balanced bull with great breed character combining the fleshing and muscling of his sire and grandsire. He has figures to match being in the top 5% for his terminal production index and the top 10% for his self replacing index.
His dam was probably the best heifer in her group and his grand dam, Kilbride Farm Mattie, is another very good Milnafua Graduate cow who has bred very well herself. She is the dam of Kilbride Farm Rainman who is breeding very well for the Newbie mains herd. Mattie is a full sister to Kilbride Farm Lotus who was another tremendously good breeding cow and was the dam of Kilbride farm Tarrant, Supreme Champion in Perth February 2008 and sold to the Corskie herd where he is breeding very well. Kilbride Farm Benone,lot 147, by Seaview Prince Charming out of one of our biggest best breeding cows.
Benone is probably the biggest heaviest bull we have ever bred with a 400 day weight of 858kg! He is a long clean bull with a great top and hindquarters and carries the weight very well on strong legs and feet. He also has great figures being in the top 5% for both Terminal production and Self replacing indeces. His dam K F Nova has been an exceptionally fertile breeding cow producing high quality calves year after year as can be seen by the table below and has already had sons sold up to 6,200gns in Perth.
His sire Seaview Prince Charming has been one of the most successful stock bulls we have ever owned with seven sons selling on one day in Perth to average over 7,000gns. Sons have been sold privately for up to£15,000 and he is the sire of Kilbride farm Tarrant, Supreme Champion in Perth February 2008 and sold to the Corskie herd where he is breeding very well. Benone has been used and semen has been collected for use in our own herd.

Kilbride Farm Belleisle, lot 163, by K F Newry out of a very powerful Carnkern Titan cow.He is a big growthy, very stylish fleshy young bull who walks out really well. His dam Kilbride farm Eunice 43t is a full sister to Kilbride Farm Titan, Supreme Champion in Perth May 2007 and a maternal half sister to Kilbride Farm Viduka who is breeding so well for the Longbeach herd.
KIlbride Farm Newry has probably been the most successful and widely used bull of recent years with sons and daughters consistantly winning championships and topping sales both at home and abroad including Kilbride Farm Strabane, supreme champion in Perth October 2006 and selling jointly to the Blackford and Delfur herds where he has bred so well. Sons of Newry have sold for up to 20,000gns
